Redeployment is not in the language of this program !

Larry is a tough act to follow. WHY? That would be the question to answer.

Frankenstein the boy toy is again taking up more time than a human. At least he's not competition and can't be voted off the island. Or sabotaged for that matter.

1001

More news. Heck Anderson let Frankenstein to the heavy lifting here. No one listens to him anyway.

1002

Rob Marciano - weather. Right. Whatever happened to the 'Global Warming' verbiage, Anderson? Leading up to the sabotage of Aaron the words Global Warming was on your lips every evening at 7PM. Hm? Odd.

1004

Jason Carroll. Kara Borden and the murders of her parents. Do you think perhaps a fourteen year old has 'Electra issues?' Yeah, I think maybe.

It is fairly obvious this was not premeditated so much as an act of passion on both parts.

1007

Iraq. The circumstances within Iraq are not surrounding an Iraqi Army although I am confident Nic Robertson will do an excellent job of contextualizing it's operational status.

The issue is that Iraq is organized differently. It is organized around it's ethnicity and communities of faith. There are local militias that protect these communities. We know for a fact the Iraqis have been very successful locally in providing a functional police force that brandish automatic weapons and bullet proof vests.

The USA is also attempting to make an Iraqi Army that is equivalent to itself. That will never happen as they aren't interested in global domination at this point. They are interested in protecting their interests and that does not mean controlling the borders either. A lot of the Iraq economy outside the oil of Halliburton, is dependant on pilgrimage. That can't exist in a war environment. It is also inappropriate to create an Iraqi military greater in ability than they were before. Their military was vulnerable by greater forces and that was an asset to the region. The USA here and again always expects high moral behavior by another nation. "Putting USA conscience on the soldiers of others." That is wrong. Assuming another nation wants to be 'little America' I doubt it will be one from Islam.

1012

Lawrence Wilkerson.

The fact of the matter is The Patriot Act and the initiative of Bush were to dominate al Qaeda in it's ruthless approaches to confrontation. That same 'attitude' in military 'mind set' was carried into Iraq. Al Qaeda was not in Iraq before Bush/Blair invasion. The approach was wrong as well as under manned.

All this debate including the segment by Nic is 'accurate' by irrelevant. WE NEED, is the 'verbiage' of the moment. "W"rong. We don't NEED anything except to leave. Bush/Rumsfeld/Rice/Cheney have had over four years 'to get it right.' They haven't and it isn't irrelevant to continue to rescue this administration of corruption. The WE NEED crowd needs to get out of the way of progress to redeployment of our troops.

Condi Rice - John King. "Iraqi forces are getting more capable. The number of coalition forces will clearly come down."

When?

When can we safely bring down our forces. SAFELY. To whom? SAFELY. There is no safety in that society now. Hello?

Pre-War Intelligence. Condi "They have the intelligence that Saddam Hussein reconstituted his programs." Oh, and the House and Senate are to take over and control and assume the speeches by Bush/Cheney/Rice/Rumsfeld although very different than their understanding under the intelligence available to them were not privileged over and above the intelligence available to the Executive Branch.

"W"rong headed thinking. Basically Condi is saying they Executive Branch was not availed to any other information and committed fraud on the campaign to invasion.

Oh.

18 weeks pregnant and unmarried. Catholic School terminated her from teacher position. She has a point. Ms. McClusky is not aborting the baby regardless of it's 'bastard' status. Does the Catholic Church actually lend itself to hatred of children conceived outside of marriage? In other words, regardless of it's 'culture of life' the Catholic Church qualifies how that 'culture' starts not just THAT it starts. Hm.

Morality clause? Having a baby is immoral? Hm. Does the fetus know that?

Well, gender discrimination is broader in religion than just pregnancy. Nuns are subservient in authority without the ability to rise to the organization's highest ranks. Wouldn't it be interesting to hear what Pope Mary Margaret would say about this.

1036

William Donahue. She is a moral agent. I suppose. Role Model. Diocese of Brooklyn. Radical Feminists. Oh. A pregnant woman outside of marriage is radical. Is this guy for real? The state sits in judgement of the pedophilia in the Church.

WILL THE CATHOLIC CHURCH BAPTIZE THAT CHILD WHEN BORN? Are there any children in that classroom who belong to parents of divorce? Are any of the children in that classroom children of single parents?

This is fundamentalism.

"Disordered." This is not a place for the homosexual. Well. Considering this is celibacy, is there room for anyone besides the neutered?

Ms. Gallagher. Father Damon is gay. Look out. There is that pesky issue in the Anglican Church and lord knows the Pope doesn't want have to face still another schism in this world.

"The sacrament taken at priesthood is the concept that God is the groom and the priest is the bride, which is a disordered male concept." I agree. It is designed to facilitate celibacy in a way that estranges a man away from a woman ASSUMING that society is only heterosexual therefore guaranteeing no priest could ever have an affair outside his vows of priesthood.

My opinion. I think it's weird.

War promotion. The 'techniques' of battle examined as non-threatening and under control. Let's see. Do I think I can do this when I am unemployed? I think I can. I've been working out both physically and with my video game recommended by the recruiter. I think I can do this. Of course, I had to rob a cash register at a unattended hotel desk to have enough money for the video game and player. I still don't have enough to hook to the net though and really test my skills.

This stuff here is simple. I am smart enough to do this. I know I am. Look at all the friends I'll have with guns, too. Same fashion statement and will automatically be given respect because of that fashion statement. This sounds pretty cool.

Nothing will happen to me. Nothing happened to them.

Allow me to reorient you.

Suicide Bomber Kills 21 in Iraq; 3 GIs Die

Associated Press Writer
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A suicide car bomber killed 21 people in northern Iraq on Tuesday after insurgents lured police to the scene by shooting an officer, officials said. The U.S. command said three more U.S. soldiers have been killed, pushing the American military death toll for the conflict to 2,100.
Elsewhere, insurgents fired a mortar shell at a U.S. ceremony transferring one of Saddam Hussein's palaces in Tikrit to Iraqi control. The shell failed to explode but sent the U.S. ambassador, the top American commander and robed tribal sheiks scurrying for cover as the round whistled overhead.

6644 missing. 1400 considered high risk. Just imagine the forensics that will occur here now. I wonder if a lifetime of forensics will ever resolve the identity of the people not even known to us yet. The Ninth Ward has yet to be investigated.

Joe Johns - Jackson, Mississippi. Six indictments. High level of claims where damage was less or non existent to FEMA in excess of $2000. This is what happens in a society that practices cronyism. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. To some extent people feel entitled to be as corrupt as their government. It exonerates the society from prejudice of the lawless.

Oh, so since Condi Rice states troop levels will come down it will happen, right? "W"rong. Where is the next redeployment, Syria? Let's see, if the numbers are coming down in Iraq the CHANCES are I won't be deployed there, so joining the military is safe to do now. Things are looking up from my unemployment.

Cheney takes flak for Iraq invasion
US Vice-President Dick Cheney is at the centre of controversy over the decision to invade Iraq and the alleged torture of terrorism suspects, but like the eye of the storm, he remains unperturbed.
The point man for the administration of US President George W. Bush which is caught up in Iraq, Cheney is leading a counter-offensive against anybody who demands the withdrawal of the US military from Iraq.
Together with Bush, he often plays the role of a "bad cop," says Eric Davis, professor of political sciences from Middlebury University.
Cheney "is taking deflected criticism for Bush," points out Stephen Hess, a political science expert with the Brookings Institution in Washington.

Donor siblings. What is the point of this? Ryan does not have a family? HIS BIOLOGICAL SELF. That is not that much a mystery. Medically it is not a danger. When one opens themselves up to basically STRANGERS that have a common donor father they are opening themselves up to exploitation of people of unknown lifestyles and values. What if Ryan seeks out distant and mysterious piers and finds out they are criminals or in prison. That will enhance the understanding of himself? No. This is making trouble where Ryan needs NONE. His family does not need this either.

Here is a news article I can live with. Fascinating. People are coming together everywhere. Iraq. The Senate. Hm.

Iraq: A consensus
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER EDITORIAL BOARD
At last, Iraq's disparate factions have found something on which they can agree: They want us out of their country. The closing memorandum of a meeting of 100 Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish leaders Monday "demands a withdrawal of foreign troops on a specified timetable, dependent on an immediate national program for rebuilding the security forces."
The U.N. mandate under which the occupation took place expires at the end of the year. And besides, we thought the objective was to give the Iraqis their country back, and now they've clearly asked to have it back, under a specific timetable.
Reaching this consensus among those representing the three major -- and often conflicting -- elements in Iraq offers valuable lessons for us Americans, who also find ourselves at times bitterly divided over the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Self-Help Housing Loan program puts needy families into homes
By Staff Reports
The United States Department of Agriculture's Mutual Self-Help Housing Loan program (Section 502) is used primarily to help very low- and low-income households construct their own homes. The program is targeted to families who are unable to buy clean, safe housing through conventional methods.
Families participating in a mutual self-help project perform approximately 65 percent of the construction labor on each other's homes under qualified supervision. The savings from the reduction in labor costs allows otherwise ineligible families to own their homes. If families cannot meet their mortgage payments during the construction phase, the funds for these payments can be included in the loan.

Anderson equates the Bible to anecdotal information. Excuse me Anderson, you might right, however, those in the Bible are supposed to be inspired by THE AUTHORITY of the Bible. In case you don't know who that is, the name is God. Now, Anderson, are you saying God is anecdotal?

Frozen Airman. When Aaron covered this he was concerned there were so many MIA from previous wars outside that of Vietnam.

This program makes very heavy investments in a singular identity. That is a mistake. If this comes back differently you risk being a disinformation source. You lose your credibility. That isn't good business or good journalism policy. Reporting the facts of the discovery and the procedure they follow to derive evidence is fine but to personalize it with expectations to a particular outcome is unethical.

Here we go. All the families involved are showcased. This isn't about the 'airman' so much as a reassurance to the type of memory families carry of their dead military. This is about honoring potential recruits rather than a venture into forensics and it's outcome.
