The Chrisitan Science Monitor They are touble makers. The article pointed to was one that states the USA government is exhibiting obsession over this shuttle launch. That is a lie. They left the shuttle out in a hurricane where there was tornado watches. That negligence to detail increased the percentage of error and danger for the astronauts. The people at this second class news rag are not qualified to 'make judgements' regarding issues of sound science. They are nothing but troublemakers and always have been. They don't value human life over their politics. The fact of the matter is both shuttle tragedies happened under Republican Presidents, Reagan and Bush. It demonstrates clearly along with this negligence of this shuttle launch why these accidents happen. These presidents demand not absolute and obsessive safety, they demand cutting corners for the sake of efficiency. The shuttle should have been returned to it's hanger until it was completely safe to bring it out for a launch.

Aaron 15 minutes, 7 minutes were live. Of that 7 minutes 4 were wasted on a propaganda segment of Anti-American sentiment regarding the ways to compromise citizens desire for more security while all the guest, Mr. James Carafano could propose was economic benefits of reducing security due to the fact most users of public transportation are 98% average folks. Right. But, what Aaron was not allowed to point out to balance this extremism was the fact all our measures are to stop that 2% of killers.
Others :: 25 minutes with a very qualified segment by Nic Robertson on how Islamic groups in London feel so threatened they don't feel they can afford recognition of any person viewed as Islamic being a terrorist, including persons like Osama bin Laden. Nic is very qualified to speak to these issues. I have never known him or Christiana Amanpour to be propagandists. Thank you, Nic. Appreciate the insight.

At this point having observed this program from it's inception and realizing CNN and in particularly NewsNight has undergone monsterous changes it leads me to speculate as to why. I take license to speculate.
Ted Turner has always been an influence in the news business and until this change in administration has always been cutting edge. Like the USA he has lost his edge and so has his news station.
I would like to speculate further about Jane Fonda and her born again Christian dogma influencing 'the culture' of CNN. I find it odd that this very successful Jewish Girl who found a very successful media business man as a spouse would write a book revealing all enough to cause a former spouse to repent in a way that brought Ms. Bigot von Zwieten to CNN as knowing more than any other Christian guru on the planet. It would be a shame if somehow Ms. Bigot attached herself to powerful people to influence the WAY the nation views the news to promote lies and an undermining culture, i.e. Rove and the FCC, to the USA promising to catapult CNN to the top of the charts nationwide as a reformist Christian Jewish network.
