What goes on?

I won't pretend to be 'plugged into' every subtilty of the art of flirting, but, to read the Gay Community Rendition of this exchange between celebrities was an eye opener. The Gay Community seems to have found a home where they can come together regarding issues of abandonment by Gay Celebrities. According to the community Anderson upstaged Nicole Richie for his interest in Ryan Seacrest. I didn't see this segment BUT there is a video link.

I have one comment in that the community has a way of dealing with this issue that keeps estranging them from their goal. I don't know if there is a better way but they might consider the point that this 'tactic' doesn't seem to be working to 'out' people they seek to provide empowerment. I believe people should be living without fear of retaliation on all fronts, socially, legally or religiously in regard to their gender identity or their sexual preferences as long as it does not victimize through abuse or exploitation, children and/or the powerless.

After realizing what was being said by the Gay Community, I did note it was odd for Ryan to make mention of his '...natural hair color.' I don't approve of vanity either. Good grooming and having sex appeal is a separate issue from vanity. Completely. Considering the victimizing of Aaron Brown for reasons of discrimination, that comment might be simply a pre-emptive strick against CNN. Beyond these comments I do not feel qualified to comment and leave that to those who care to.

This blog was begun to tell the world about issues of bias, discrimination, racism and anti-semitic trends that are DANGEROUS to individuals. To that end I enter this 'information' as 'observations' of a Gay Community at risk. At risk for disease that is not a focus of the government to the extent it should including with Black Women, a risk for addiction to chemical substances like 'crystal meth' due to community rejection by a greater society and a risk for those that have found happiness in couplehood and child rearing that is frowned on by some courts in this country and an ever encroaching 'same' authority at the level of Supreme Court. I will not abandon this community or any other 'at risk' because it's unpopular. That is exactly the subject I struggled with for years regarding religious bigotry.

Anderson and Ryan, Sittin' in a Tree

In what must be one of the gayest moments in CNN history, Ryan Seacrest, subbing for Larry King, took another major step in putting the "out" in "Seacrest out."

He appeared to pitch some serious woo Anderson Cooper's way when Anderson came on to promo his 10 p.m. show. The two went practically ga-ga for each other. I'm surprised digits were not exchanged on the air.

But they did, however, talk about the long pink appendage dangling from Ryan, as well as "taking a pounding."

Cruising this serious is usually reserved for dimly lit parks, not television screens across America.

Anderson Cooper falls for Ryan Seacrest's big 'tie'

Somehow Anderson Cooper managed to upstage even Nicole Richie, who was chatting with Ryan Seacrest on Larry King Live last night — yes, CNN let Ryan fill in for Larry King.

Nicole, on to talk about her "novel," took a back seat to Ryan and Anderson when the CNN superstar came on for a lead-in promo.

Their gay-filled, gay-themed, gay-styled, gay, gay, gay, banter:

AC: That's the biggest tie I've ever seen by the way.

RS: Yeah, you know, I don't know. It's bigger than my head, isn't it?

AC: No, it works, it works for you, it just, you know, I just noticed it ..

RS: Look at the size of your .. Your bow's tiny, mine's huge.

AC: I've heard that often.

And if that weren't enough, Anderson goes on to talk about Nashville "taking a pounding."
We were mildly uncomfortable. And erect.
