You know I have a meter in the house that measures any CO2 levels. I purchased it years ago when I used natural gas and hot water to heat the house in New Jersey. It was encouraged to be purchased by the utility company. It was nominal and it was budgeted on my bill monthly. I think I know something about this already.

Do you know what happens when the chimney flue is closed? Do you, Anderson? The house fills with smoke far quicker than it fills with carbon monoxide. Hello? You know a person catches on quick when smoke is building out of the fireplace. No high IQ needed there. Dogs bark and everything. Do you believe the level of insult this audience sustains?

The invasion of privacy is lopsided and even the pundits of the Patriot Act ADMIT there is a bias that will develop in the USA due to the incumbent ADVANTAGE over political information. We don't want a dictatorship. We want our country back. George Tenet did the right thing before 911 with his report "Bin Laden determined to Attack Within the USA." It was Bush that didn't pay attention nor did he care to. We need competency returned to the USA and we won't need an overbearing government.
This country can't afford A Patriot Act. It's demoralizing this country. Spying on Americans is a deplorable act. Americans had NO HAND in 9/11. NONE. Iraq was parlayed from the Culture of Fear of Bush. No way. We don't need it. We don't want it. Bush is destroying the American Culture.

The mine experienced an explosion. Sure there are short shifts. These people are 2 miles into the Earth. What do you think they are up against no matter how dedicated they are to find their piers? Incredibly brave people. This mine needs to be closed down. I don't care if there was a new company that took it over. It's there bad luck. Shut it down ! They didn't immediately make improvements to prevent this. They were interested in the coal at any cost. We don't need companies like this.

Governor Manchin doesn't want to speculate to the causes of the explosion. It needs to be investigated. He is finding order in the way the dead miner was found. He feels some hope might exist in that the other workers walked away from the 'car' they travel into the mine. The workers were appropriate in their demeanor if the dead man was doing his job in the proper place within this mine. This is tragic. Sometimes carbon dust can cause a flash explosion that robs the people in the area of the very oxygen in their lungs. "Believe in Miracles and Give Us a Good Prayer." Fine. We'll all keep good thoughts.
