IT would seem this is a permanent condition at NewsNight. It's unfortunate that an anchor that cares about his audience isn't allowed to connect with them.
No one is more fatigued by this issue than me. It's a darn shame.
Now CNN's Newsnight e-mails aren't signed at all and Aaron Brown is still not connecting with his audience in pre-programming announcements.
Rude and uncharacteristic of the anchor I always thought respected his audience.
