Answer this question. What is the reaction of people of the coal mining operations throughout the country? Do they feel they are safe on their jobs? If so, why? What does their company do that the NEW owners of the Sago Mine didn't and doesn't do for miner safety?
The People Who Mine Coal
The contemporary coal industry workforce is a continually evolving reflection of our society as a whole. According to a Bureau of Mines survey, the average coal miner is 39 years old and has 11 years of experience, eight years with the same company. Three-fourths of all coal miners have a high school or better education. There are about 3,300 women among the industry's workforce of 130,000.

An Assignment for Anderson and Drew
Anderson Cooper the Absurd
0959
Anderson Cooper the exploitive.
1002
Drew Griffin. Along a telephone line of misunderstanding. My goodness this is enlightening isn't it?
1003
Dennis O'Dell - There were two separate sets of words.
1004
Drew Griffin believes someone from the commander center got carried away. You don't knkow that though. There is a lot you don't know, by the way. You, regardless of what you know and what you don't know, with a vigilante media company on your side, is willing to inflame the situation for your own purpose. Tabloid Journalism. Eventually, it might even be true, right Drew? Not Journalism, but, skepticism. This is of course a government investigation with interviews with everyone.
1006
Dr. Blake - McCloy - "Who Examined them." - The Witch Doctor Sanjay Gupta strikes again. He is a good corporate view of evading responsibility. No different than Cooper who evades responsible journalism.
"Serious" - I take it that Dr. Blake was the triage MD on the scene. He had control of assessing the people that were rescued. He was not a part of the rescue but standing by to administer treatment.
What CNN - AGAIN - has intentionally ignored is the authorities in charge of a potential crime scene INCLUDING manslaughter by the company. Those still alive at the scene will be transported while the dead are photographed, etc.
The company representative that night stated they didn't tell the families sooner because they wanted to be sure that all except Mr. McCloy were dead. He stated clearly that the rescuers were taking vital signs and checking out those found to determine that. I am assuming there were EMTs with defibrillators to ascertain that TRUTH !
Fascinating interview? I don’t find it interesting or informative or responsible. This is tabloid journalism to inflame the audience into following 'the lie of choice.'

The Note AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN.
This is not journalism.
This is however exploitation of human suffering to satisfy GAWKERS.
1015
Nothing mentioned about violations. An official investigation. ONLY how Anderson Cooper 360 can get the job done ahead of anyone else with his own journalists and lots of fancy graphics.
This couldn't be more engineered or exploitive. Anderson is misleading the public through his need for control for his paycheck and what a paycheck it is.

There isn't any new information here. It's very sad this is occurring.
