A Federal Struggle for Control was lacking insight to the well being of the people so much as power over the 'image.' The issue of race relations was never an issue before Katrina why would it be after? Compassion? The Bush White House actually having compassion? When? The state of Louisiana was under seige. I guess so. A half a million people either displaced or dead is one of the best reasons for a state under seige.

So we as citizens of the country need to demand an independant commission for the best interest of the country as well as the people of the Gulf. Well, there you go Anderson, this is supposed to be your forte' - being outraged regarding the poor performance of governments. The Federal Government is pulling opposition to a necessary investigation surrounding an issue easily viewed as a Homeland Security issue. Don't back out just because it is Bush, now. Call Georgie and ask for a personal interview regarding this issue. Maybe you can yell at him rather than us. You, go Anderson. Don't know anyone who won't be behind you on this one. We would love to give Georgie a tongue lashing.

David Ensor - 911 Commission. Designating an aire waves channel would be loss of a 'bandwidth' to make money. That has to be far better than supplying government with efficiency. Look, the Bush Administration wants the ENTIRE government privatized. For the flag waving good of the economy. So let's sell the 'bandwidth' to Wal-Mart and have them run the entire nation's emergency response system. Let's hope they never have a conflict with a national security issues between the USA and China. It goes like this. If the USA tries to undermine Wal-Mart's wall to wall success in China the corporation can hold this country by the balls by threating to close store fronts in the USA which conducts National Security and Emergency Response Centers. What would you do besides sell stocks in protest?
The government fails across the board by the 911 Commission. The legislature should vote to recommission the 911 Commission UNTIL the recommendations become reality and part of our National Security rather than swept under the rug. Do I think that is a great and necessary idea? You Betcha. Do I think the Bush Legislature is capable of greatness and competency? Absolutely Not ! Would you agree Anderson?
